The magnetic hold is strongest with a MagSafe case. On other phones, stick the ring to your case (not directly to the phone) and wait 2 hours before use. The quick camera-wake button doesn't work on Samsung phones or HarmonyOS NEXT 5.0 and newer; the Bluetooth shutter still works as a remote.
